The team of the central district’s anti -Narcotics cell arrested three offenses running around Dariyaganj with illegal weapons on a motorcycle after performing the shooting incident in Welcome and Jyoti Nagar police station. A pistol, a Desi Katta, six cartridges and a motorcycle were recovered from his possession. The arrested accused was identified as Mohammad Faiz, Mohammad Adnan and Mohammad Sameer, residents of Kabir Nagar in Shahdara. According to the Deputy Commissioner of Police Nidhin Walson, the team received secret information on August 24 that three crooks towards the Ghata Mosque in the Dariyaganj area are coming with illegal weapons and Cartridges on a black colored beautiful motorcycle. On information, Inspector Ashish K. under the supervision of ACS Sulekha Jagwar. The Dubey team immediately laid a trap and caught the three motorcyclists about the information of the informant. Illegal weapons were recovered from his possession. During interrogation, the accused said they had carried out the incidents in Welcome and Jyoti Nagar on the evening of August 23. He further stated that he had a fight on August 15 with a person named Aman with Mint Cafe. To intimidate him, he fired near Mint Cafe in the welcome area of the police station. About five months ago, he also had a fight with a person named Naved Pot near Shani Bazar Chowk Jyoti Nagar, in which Sameer sustained an injury to his head. To take revenge, he fired near his home in the Jyoti Nagar police station. During interrogation, Faiz was found to be a measure of profession. Adnan works as a delivery boy in a salon and Sameer Porter app.
