Why bets Saudi Arabia in the eastern region to attract industrial investments?

Saudi Arabia has dedicated the eastern region to launch the industrial complex for machines and equipment in Dammam due to its many benefits, including the availability of oil, petrochemicals and raw materials, in addition to the facilities of infrastructure, logistics services, transport and gates, according to Nasser Al -Center. In an interview with “Al -Sharq”, he noted that the choice of the eastern region also shares the purpose of integration and with other wavelads, whether in manufacturing or logistical activities and services. And added that the Kingdom not only targets this industrial complex, the local market, but the entire region and the world markets more extensively. Al -qarawi pointed out that the complex aims to attract investments from large industrialized countries, such as the United States, China, Japan, South Korea and European countries, with the aim of improving national industrial capabilities and increasing the competitiveness of the Saudi industries worldwide.
