The state government has taken a big step in bringing uniformity in the fees of engineering, medical, management and other professional courses in private institutions operated in Jharkhand. A fee -regulation committee will be set up to prepare a uniform fee structure. A bill will be established in the Jhark Hand legislative meeting to execute a law related to this. The bill is called the name ‘Jharkhand Professional Education Institutes (Regulation of Festival) Bill, 2025’. The concept was approved in a state cabinet meeting held on Thursday under the chair of Chief Minister Hemant Soren. This information was given by the Cabinet Secretary of Dadle. It is noteworthy that in one of its decisions, the Supreme Court ordered the fee for vocational education, so that the extortion of private institutions can be stopped. After this decision, other states, including Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh, formed a fee regulation committee. Now Jharkhand has also taken the initiative in this direction. The cabinet secretary said the new policy associated with liquor sales in the state was also approved by the Cabinet. According to this, the responsibility of the wheat industry of liquor will now be in the hands of Jharkhand State Beverages Corporation Limited (JSBCL), while retail stores will run a private party. There is a total of 1.453 liquor stores in the state, which will be allocated by tender lutrically. In the policy being implemented, the government is also currently operating retail stores through placement agencies. The new policy will be implemented over a month.
