The Calcutta High Court questioned the government of Bengal, was there an administrative ban on the selection of 'the Bengal files'?
Kolkata, September 23 (IANS). A Calcutta High Court division bank on Tuesday climbed the West Beggal government whether there were any special administrative instructions to ban the performance of ‘The Bengal Files’, led by Vivek Agnihotri in Kolkata’s theaters and multiplexes. A Justice Division Bank of Justice Sujay and Justice Smita Das Dey has ordered the state government to file their explanation in court by September 26. The next trial of the case will be held on September 26. The bank sought this explanation of the West Bengal government on Tuesday. The explanation was given on a pill (pill) submitted earlier this month, with the intervention of the court to ensure the smooth and peaceful execution of ‘The Bengal Files’ in the theaters and multiplexes in the Western Bengals. Currently, the performance of ‘The Bengal Files’ in Western Bengals is under informal ban, where theater and multiplex owners allegedly refused to give slots to the film after the pressure of a special political pressure group. Justice Paul asked the state government on Tuesday whether it was true that ‘the Bengal files’ did not appear in a single theater hall in Kolkata. Earlier this month, a single bank of the Calcutta High Court, Amrita Sinha, rejected a petition filed against the execution of ‘the Bengal files’, as the collector in question could not file the claims behind his petition with confirmation information and assistant documents. The petition was submitted by Freedom Fighter Gopal Mukherjee Alias Gopal Path’s grandson Shantanu Mukherjee, depicted in the film. Justice Sinha also said that such petitions do not fall under the jurisdiction of his court and that the petitioner should go on a proper platform in this case. -Ians Sch Share This Story Tags
