CBI screws on the builders who cheated home buyers submitted 6 lawsuits

New -Delhi, September 27 (IANS). The CBI took a great action against the builders who cheated on home buyers in Kolkata, Bangalore and Mumbai. The Central Investigation Agency has registered cases to investigate the Nexus between builders and officials in the financial institutions. The CBI has filed 6 cases against various builders of Kolkata, Bangalore and Mumbai and unknown officials of various financial institutions according to the Supreme Court. The investigative agency also fell 12 locations in Kolkata, Mumbai and Bangalore. Thousands of home buyers in the country have filed the SLP in the Supreme Court in which they are cheated by builders and developers and forced against them by financial institutions. In April 2025, the Supreme Court ordered the CBI to register 7 preliminary investigation in light of the illegal alliances between builders and financial institutions to cheat home buyers through a home loan ‘submission scheme’. After the Supreme Court’s order, the CBI registered 7 preliminary investigation. And after completing 6 preliminary investigation related to NCR builders, the CBI has already filed a status report before the Supreme Court. By order of the Supreme Court, the Central Investigation Agency registered 22 cases against various builders of the National Capital Region (NCR), who are being investigated. Now the CBI has submitted a status report before the Supreme Court over the completion of the 7th preliminary investigation against various builders outside the NCR. After the report was presented by the CBI, the court ordered the CBI to register 6 regular cases against unknown officials from various builders and financial institutions in Kolkata, Bangalore and Mumbai. In this order, the CBI has registered 6 cases. Look for 12 places in Kolkata, Bangalore and Mumbai and Search is still on. During the search, several offensive documents and some digital electronic evidence were seized.
