CBN's big action in Takeuch: MDMA seized the truck, arrested a smuggler

Takeuch, September 20 (IANS). The Central Narcotics Bureau (CBN) takes a big attempt at smuggled intoxicating drugs. In this action taken on the basis of a special intelligence information, CBN officials seized 0.939 kg MDMA, hidden by making secret rooms in the air filter of a truck. The truck went from Maharashtra in the direction of Gujarat, which was stopped near Patra Dhaba (Village Hasanpalia, Tehsil Javra, District Ratlam) on Mau-Takuch Road. The truck had 530 bags of maize, which was used as a load covered to hide the smuggling. The CBN of Javra Sale from CBN received information that MDMA was taken to Gujarat in a truck from Maharashtra. After this, the team of Saturday morning began to monitor the suspected route. Once the truck was identified, the authorities stopped it and began questioning. In the initial investigation, the driver gave no clear information, but it was revealed to intensive interrogation that the consignment was hidden in the air filter of the truck. The truck was taken to the CBN office Javra due to the full on -site search. In the investigation, which lasted a few hours there, 3 packets of MDMA were recovered from a secret room in the air filter, which had a total weight of 0.939 kg. CBN officials seized the truck. An accused was also arrested under the NDPS Act, 1985. According to officials, it was a well-planned and high-tech way of smuggling, which was caught by vigilance and experience.
