Katwa, September 26 (IANS). One of the most important Durga Puja events of Katwa City of West Bengal, Katwa Gaurangana Sarvajanin Durga Puja Committee, is celebrating its 50th year this year. To make these historic golden jubilee celebrations special, the organizers have chosen the theme of this year, Inner Mahal, which takes a look at the internal parts of the traditional Bengali houses and life there. The pandal is produced by local artists and decorators. His competent artistry made the pandal a lively scene of cultural memories and beauty of traditional homes. This unique theme not only made the atmosphere of worship special, but also experienced visitors to dip old times. Thousands of people come from far and wide to visit this pandal and a great idol of Maa Durga. The estimated budget of this year’s worship is about 10 lakh calls. Although expenses are great in grandeur, the organizers do not want to limit this ceremony only to greatness. Cultural programs will be arranged daily in the pandal, which includes music, dance and theater performances. In addition, the committee has made arrangements for the distribution of clothing for poor and needy people and dedicated, it will also provide pleasure and offers.
