Kenesa also mentioned this whole incident in his book. He said we endured the pain for a long time. I went out in snow and prayed to God for guidance. When Kanesa was a medical student, he said other people to stay alive after eating bodies. Kenesa further said that eating human meat was absolutely frightening. In 1972, ie 52 years ago, a Uruguay Air Force aircraft with players and officials and their families and friends of the rugby team passed over the Andes Mountains.
