The District Police made close security arrangements to detect a peaceful action of the Ganpati immersion arranged by Shri Vidyaganpati Bhakta Mandali in Chamarajanagar City of Karnataka. In order to prevent any unforeseen incident, the District Police kept a policing on the Optogrow. As every year, this time, unprecedented safety arrangements were also made for the immersion, including a total of 709 police staff deployed. On Sunday, the police district superintendent gave the necessary directions to all these staff members on the Parade Parade Ground, after which the route began. The route march reaches Sri Bhuvaneshwari Circle via b rachaiah Double Road and then goes through Arterial Roads such as KSRT Station Road, Gundlupet Circle, Chikkanayakar Street, Chikka Angadi, Dodda Angadi Street, and Santhemarahalli Circle, where the police administration has approved have issued. The police officer said that 117 CCTV cameras already installed on the optograph route were identified, along with 52 additional temporary CCTV cameras were also installed. Air supervision was also initiated with the help of two drones to keep an eye on the optograph route, surrounding roads and houses. He said that the deployed safety force, one SP, one ASP, 5 DSPs, 14 inspectors, 36 sub -inspectors, 58 assistant sub -inspectors, 362 constables and main constables, 22 female constables, 11 videographers, 200 home guards, 5 CSRP and 6 Dar Platones, the total strength is 709. Additional police forces and rap action force (RAF) teams were deployed in sensitive areas. Divers and a unit NDRF were also kept ready in the submerging sites. Dr. BT Kavita, police district superintendent, said a commando power and a new block commando were also deployed to further strengthen safety. In addition, a dog group and a bomb removal team monitor the entire route.
