Channing Tatum, Oscar Isaac to work together for the movie KoCroach
Washington, DC [US]August 30 (Ani): Actor Channing Tatum will play with Oscar Isaac and Zazie Beetz in ‘KoCroach’, who tells a story of a mysterious stranger who turns himself into a crime boss in a greater than life, Variety reports. The film is an adaptation of the novel by William Lashner, written under the Pennaam Tyler Knox. Matt Ross, the filmmaker behind ‘Captain Fantastic’, will direct from a screenplay written by Jonathan Ames. The film is produced by Andrew Lazar under his Mad Chance Production Banner. According to Variety, the recording of the film is in Australia in January. Tatum will be in Toronto for the premiere of his next film, Derek Cianfrance’s ‘Rooferman’, and will also be honored with the festival’s execution award. The actor also recently wrapped Marvel Studios and Disney’s ‘Avengers: Doomsday’, Variety reports. The actor is known for his films, including the ‘Jump Street’ and ‘Magic Mike’ franchises, as well as ‘Foxcatcher’, ‘Dear John’ and ‘The Low.’ As far as Isaac is concerned, actor Next in Guillermo del Toro’s ‘Frankenstein’, who will have his world premiere at the Venice International Film Festival and will also be displayed in Toronto.
