Dehradun, June 26 (IANS). Vinay Shankar Pandey, commissioner of Garhwal division of Uttarakhand, said the Chardham Yatra, which started on April 30, is running smoothly. So far, more than 35.5 lakh devices have appeared, which in itself is a record. He described it as a matter of pride and happiness, and he said that the administration made extensive arrangements during the Yatra for safety and arrangement, so that the pilgrims had no discomfort. However, Yukada took strict steps by temporarily suspending Heli services after some helicopter cracks. He said a tragic bus accident took place on Tuesday on the Rudraprayag and Chamoli border. The bus, which fell in the Alaknanda River, had 20 passengers, a driver and a guide. So far, eight people have been evacuated in the accident. These people are included in Aiims Rishikesh via Heli ambulance, where they undergo treatment. The bodies of three people were recovered. At the same time, the team of SDRF, Rudraprayag Police, Water Police and Chamoli Police are looking for the missing people. He further said that according to the preliminary information the bus was on the right path, but a truck hit behind and the bus fell into the river and the bus fell into the river. The investigation into the accident began based on the explanations of eyewitnesses. Commissioner Pandey expressed deeply sadly at the incident, saying that the administration is taking all possible steps. The chief minister gave clear instructions that the proper treatment of the injured should be assured and that the search for the missing people should be accelerated.
