Bhopal, April 18 (IANS). Chief Minister Mohan Yadav said extensive work is being done to promote the wildlife in Madhya Pradesh and the development of the ECO system. In this episode, the Gandhisagar holyness in Mandsaur is also inhabited by Cheetahs. On Sunday, April 20, two leopards from Kuno National Park were moved and released to Gandhisagar. The chief minister said that Gandhisagar’s climate is very favorable for Cheetahs. Mohan Yadav said at a review meeting of the Cheetah project with the Union Minister of Environment, Forest and Climate Change at Samvavan that a direct path and air connection from Gwalior will be developed to promote tourism in Kuno. Kuno will also have a tent city, the veterinary hospital and the rescue center at the international level. This animal hospital will be useful, not only for Cheetah, but also for the cow dynasty of the entire region. The chief minister said that India -born Cheetah Cubs is the highest survival rate in the world, proving that the climate is suitable for cheetahs here. Cheetah friends and women’s self-help groups are being made tourist guides and Didi Cafes will be set up for the purpose of providing work to the locals in the Kuno region. Bhupendra Yadav has appreciated the efforts of wildlife and the Cheetah rehabilitation and suggested that a task force be drawn up to monitor these projects. Cheetah friends must also be trained and linked to home stays and natural tourism. Heritage walks and crocodile-wise viewpoints must also be developed in the historical fort of Kuno region. Currently, Kuno has 26 leopards, of which 16 are in an open forest and 10 in the rehabilitation center. Cheetahs are monitored with satellite collar 24 hours.
