Chhattisgarh: Five people died in a road accident

Raipur, October 5 (IANS). Five people were killed and five others were seriously injured in a fierce road accident in the Kawardha district of Chhattisgarh on Sunday. The accident occurred when a high -speed truck hit the sports utility vehicle. The victims include three female teachers, a minor girl and the driver of the vehicle. The incident happened near the Akalgharia Mor in Chilfi Valley under the jurisdiction of the Chilfi police station on the banks of the National Highway 30 in the Kawardha district Chhattisgarh. According to police, all the victims except the driver of Kolkata were residents and he went from Kanha National Park in Balaghat, Madhya Pradesh to Bilaspur. His vehicle overturned with a sharp turn, resulting in a deadly accident. A police officer said four people died on the spot. The truck went from Kawardha in the direction of Amarkantak in Madhya Pradesh. Local authorities and rescue teams acted immediately and rushed the injured to the Bodla Community Health Center. Given the severity of their injuries, five people were referred to the Kawardha District Hospital for better treatment. Medical officials have confirmed that the condition of three of the five remains critical. The names of the deceased have not yet been officially announced, but sources indicate that the group consisted of teachers and family members who came to visit.
