Chhattisgarh: Opposition of YouTuber Elvish program in Garba, people ask questions

Ambikapur, September 27 (IANS). During Navratri in Ambikapur City of Chhattisgarh, Hindu organizations opposed Youtuber Elvish Yadav’s Garba-Dandia programs and an influential Anjali Arora in two private hotels. Protesters burned posters. The protesters of the Hindu organization say that such artists should not be allowed to do the program, which has nothing to do with religion. The protesters asked the organizers not to call such artists in programs. A demonstrator, Deeraj Singh, said during a conversation with the media that Dandiya and Garba programs were arranged during Navratri. These are religiously important programs, and in such programs that have nothing to do with religion, and those who just demonstrate their talent, what message will they give to society? Such artists cannot be ideal for our society. That is why we are opposed to artists such as Elvis Yadav and Anjali Arora. Today we also burn posters on the local square in protest, and we urge the organizers not to call such artists in their programs. Another protester said that in the Dandiya and Garba program the work to disturb the peace of the city is done by calling people of criminal tendency. Our demand is that this event be organized, but that such people should not be mentioned. At the same time, the hotel operator assured that they were in support of the Hindu society. Hotel operator Mukesh Aggarwal said we would only give access to people of Hinduism. People who spread improperly in the hotel will be tightened. Dandiya will be played completely in the atmosphere of Hindutva. We have no idea who comes. The youth know more about new artists. I fully support the Hindu society. -Ians Ash/DSC shares this story Tags
