ChhattisGarh: Passenger Bus Service will be available in the towns affected by Naxal, AMIT Shah, Home Affairs Minister, launched

Jagdalpur, October 4 (IANS). Home Affairs Minister Amit Shah, who reached Jagdalpur in the Bastar district of Chhattisgarh, inaugurated the lead minister’s rural bus service on Saturday. This service was started in about 250 towns in 7 districts of the Bastar division. Due to the Naxalite involved, the residents here have not yet gained the benefit of the passenger bus service. Now, however, 36 passenger bus services have been introduced for a total of 250 towns. Home Affairs Minister Amit Shah and the head of state Vishnu Dev Sai marked passenger buses. He said that the campaigns performed against Maoist activities in Chhattisgarh were a significant success in one and a half years. Since December 2023, 445 Maoist neutralized in 33 major encounters, including top Maoist leaders. At the same time, 1554 Maoists were arrested, while 1588 Maoists surrendered. He gave information to AMIT Shah, and he said that under the ‘coordinated development and security’ of the state government is a target to completely abolish the Maoist influence. Roads, education and health services are expanded in this direction.
