Chhattisgarh: Ujjwala scheme brings positive changes to the lives of women of the Bastar region.

Raipur, October 12 (IANS). The Bastar division of the Bastar section of Chhattisgarh, which was once notorious for leftist extremism, nowadays writes a new story of development and prosperity. One of the government’s flagship schemes led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Ujjwala Yojana, brought a revolutionary change in women’s lives here. Not only that, many other public welfare programs such as good management Mahotsav and “Niyad Nellanar” have also brought a profound change in people’s lives. Earlier, women spent hours collecting wood and working in smoke-filled kitchens, but now cooking with LPG gas has made life easier, safer and healthier. Thousands of women have free gas connections and not only save their time in cuisine, but also protect their health from toxic fumes. Earlier, eye irritation and breathing diseases were regular in women, but now the kitchen is not full of smoke, but of smiles. Many women say that cooking with LPG saves their time so that they can better take care of their children and other household tasks. The benefits of government schemes and services are visible in almost every village here. Rural women participate in self -aid groups (SHGs), nutrition campaigns and SWACHH Bharat mission. Administrative officials regularly visit towns, listen to people’s problems and offer solutions. These initiatives have given a new direction to transparency and public participation in management. These schemes significantly increased the participation and empowerment of women. Women not only manage their families, but also become self -sufficient through work on work activities. They sell their products in local markets, become economically stronger through self -help groups and play a role in village development. –Is MS/DKP Share This Story Tags
