Chhindwara cough syrup -scandal: Jitu Patwari's big attack on the government said: "Main minister is insensitive, the government hides the truth"
Bhopal, October 11 (IANS). The President of the State Congress Jitu Patwari on Saturday made a shocking attack on the state government and the chief minister of the death of children in the Chhindwara district Madhya Pradesh. He said that according to the government’s records 157 bottles of Coldrif syrup were sold in the market within a month, while 25-30 children were affected by this syrup. He raised the question that what happened to the remaining bottles and how many children were killed or undergoing treatment should place the government the full information before the public. While talking to the media, Patwari said: ‘The whole country saw the sensitivity of the chief minister. When the journalists asked him questions about this matter, he said: ‘Don’t ask questions about it, it was a matter of yesterday, talking today. “It clearly means that the Chief Minister himself believes that what happened yesterday was murder, but did not want to talk about it now. “He also made a spade at the great welcome given to the Chief Minister during his visit to Ratlam. Patwari said: “In one district of Madhya Pradesh, about 25 children died and in another district, the main minister welcomes them with flowers and cliffs. On the one hand there are raw, on the other, it is the sensitivity of this government.” The President of Congress claimed that “Bharatiya Janata Party MPs organize celebrations and dance and singing. Until the main minister arrived, no BJP leader went to the place. Everyone reached there only after the main minister showed up. This shows the government’s priority.” Patwari called on the people of Madhya Pradesh to “understand that BJP takes votes in the name of religion and hatred, taking votes by showing immediate benefits from schemes such as loadli Behan and then suffering the public as a result of inflation and negligence for five years.” He demanded that drug controller be arrested and that a murder case should be registered and that the Minister of Health should resign. Patwari said: “If the minister does not resign, the chief minister must show courage and take his resignation.” The congressional leader demanded a CBI investigation, saying that how many children under ten years have died in Madhya Pradesh and who revealed their reasons. He also said that “this syrup was not only sold in Madhya Pradesh, but also in four other countries. It is necessary to investigate whether such incidents also occurred there.” Patwari said: “It is not just a drug scandal, but a living example of the government’s negligence and insensitivity. The public needs answers and the government will have to take responsibility.” –Is Ash/GKT
