Chief Minister Ayushman Arogya Yojana proved to be a blessing in Rajasthan, 50 Lakh patients gave a new life

Chief Minister Ayushman Arogya (MAA) scheme of the Rajasthan government appears to be a prosperity for the patients suffering from serious illnesses. Through this scheme, cashless treatment worth £ 1,900 crore was provided to about 2.5 lakh seriously ill patients, giving them new hope. Medical and Health Minister Gajendra Singh Khinvsar said there were many defects in the previous health insurance schemes. Seriously ill patients did not get on time and completed medical care. The scheme launched on February 19, 2024 Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma, taking into account the problems of poor and needy patients, launched the new scheme on February 19, 2024. After the scheme was amended and the number of packages increased, it became a lifeline for critically ill patients. Initially, 73 new cancer day care packages were added. Geriatric care, adolescent mental health, oral cancer, special packages for the disabled, robotic surgery, neurosurgery, plastic surgery and skin transplantation, cardiothoracic and vascular surgery and Ayush are gradually included. Gayatri Rathod, secretary of the medical and health department, said that compared to the earlier 1,800 packages, about 2200 packages were included in this scheme, which facilitated the treatment of serious ill patients. Harjilal Atal, CEO of the Rajasthan State Health Assurance Agency, said that the cashless treatment worth about £ 1,900 crore in the last one and a half years to approximately 2.50,000 patients who are seriously ill were provided under the scheme. Qualifying patients from outside the state are also treated under this scheme. The process of outgoing portability of treatment is underway in other countries. This includes 1,23,000 heart patients, 96,000 cancer patients, 20,000 dialysis patients, 6 700 patients with diabetes, 452 cochlear plantat patients, 300 patients with bone marrow transplants, 760 kidney transplant patients and 77 liver transplantation patients. Cashless treatment worth £ 800 was provided to cancer patients, £ 850 crore to heart patients and £ 200 crore to dialysis patients. Cashless treatment worth £ 6,000 so far is 1.34 crore families registered under the scheme. In the financial year 2025-26, the state government added 132 new packages. From 19 February 2024 to 3 October 2025, more than 50 lakh patients received cashless treatment worth about £ 6,000 below the scheme. Under this scheme, organ transplantation is available for free in the state. If the organ transplantation of the patient in other countries occurs, the patient and one of his family members receive compensation and compensation of air tickets to the extent of the expenses.
