Chief Minister Dhami met the Minister of Railways, Ashwini Vaishnav, to the railroad proposals of Uttarakhand.

New -delhi, October 8 (IANS). The chief minister of Uttarakhand, Pushkar Singh Dhami, met in New -Delhi on Wednesday in New -Delhi to discuss the development of rail infrastructure in Uttarakhand. During this, the Minister of Railway gave permission three times a week to operate the Dehradun-Tanakpur Weekly train. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami wrote in a post on social media platform. The Railways Minister also gave permission three times a week to operate the Dehradun-Tanakpur train. He further said that the central government would be made an appropriate decision on the full cost of doubling the Haridwar-Dehradun railway. Along with considering the possibility of connecting Almora and Someshwar areas in the Tanakpur-Bageshwar Rail Project, a request was made to the Minister of Railways to provide for a path along the tunnel on which the Minister of Railway will be said. The Chief Minister said he also completely closed the old Rishikesh railway station, he also requested the Minister of Railways to transfer all the rights of this land to the state government. Chief Minister Dhami told the Minister of the Railway to the Union that as a result of the closure of the old Railway Station, if additional land is needed for the systematic operation of the Yog Nagari Railway Station, the state government will give positive consideration and cooperation on it.
