Chief Minister of Delhi checked Development Projects in Chandni Chowk Lok Sabha selection division
New -Delhi, September 11 (IANS). Delhi Chief Minister Velha Gupta took over on Thursday as Minister of Chandni Chowk Lok Sabha selection division and did an extensive review of the development works and pending projects of the area. During the meeting held on this event, the basic problems of the area and the possible solutions were discussed seriously. The meeting also discussed the problem of exceeding and traffic jams, as it was a long time problem for locals and dealers in the areas of old Delhi such as Chandni Chowk, Kashmiri Gate and Sadar Bazar. CM Relha Gupta has instructed officials regarding the establishment of ‘pink urinal’ (women’s ililet) in old Delhi markets that the plan is being prepared as soon as possible and that the work needs to be started. He said there is a large shortage of toilets for women in these crowded areas, which should be removed on priority. BJP -LP of Chandni Chowk, Praveen Khandelwal, local MLAs, councilors and senior officials from various departments were present at the meeting. During the meeting, legislators and councilors have issues such as redevelopment of parks, construction of multi-level parking, modernization of markets, road repairs, sewerage cleaning, street lights and installation of new lights. The Chief Minister took all these claims seriously, and the relevant departments acted immediately to act. He also said that all projects should be completed within the specified time. Rekha Gupta gave preference to all pending files related to the Chief Minister Vikas Fund (CMDF) and instructed to give immediate approval and complete the work within the specified time. He called on the legislators and councilors to prepare a proposal according to the needs of their respective areas, so that developmental works can begin quickly. He expressed concern about the growing number of cows and cattle on the streets and roads. He said it was not only dangerous in terms of safety, but also hindered traffic. To solve this, the state government will develop 11 cow in Delhi in a phased way, where there will be proper food, treatment and safe accommodation arrangements. The Chief Minister also ordered the officials that the progress of each project should be updated daily on the e-file system and ensure transparency. -Ians vku/dkp
