Emergency services stopped due to the cessation of ambulance staff in Himachal

Himachal Pradesh 108 and 102 ambulance employees Union, who are attached to the ambulance workers’ Trade Association (Citu), arranged a protest march in Chamba on Wednesday as part of their continued agitation against poor working conditions and lack of proper compensation. The protest march was held after negotiations with the National Health Mission (NHM) failed, which announced a 24 -hour strike on Tuesday night. Emergency medical services have stopped across the state as employees, managers and emergency technicians (EMT) (EMT) have remained away from work. During the protests in Chamba, the employees expressed their disappointment about the continued exploitation under the Medswan Foundation, which is currently operational service. Citu district secretary Sudesh Thakur addressed the protesters, saying that ambulance staff working under the Medswan Foundation Medswan Foundation should constantly exploit. In addition, large statutory benefits such as employee provident fund (EPF) and employees’ state insurance (ESI) are handled or not applied properly. The Citu leader also pointed to repeated violations of the orders issued by the CJM court and the office of the state labor in the High Court in Himachal Pradesh, Labor Court, Shimla. The protesters claimed that the employees who were trying to raise these issues through the union should take revenge in the form of transfer, spiritual harassment or forced resignation. He claimed that many employees were suspended from the duty without any elucidation and that they were regularly denied their direct holidays. There are several claims at the center of protest, including the implementation of the minimum wage law, proper remuneration for overtime work, the provision of regular leave and also ensuring full salary, even if the ambulance is maintained or under the insurance process.
