China-Italy collaboration is of mutual benefit: Wang Yi

Beijing, October 9 (IANS). Wang Yi, a member of the Politburo of the Communist Party of the Central Committee of China and Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi attended the 12th Joint Assembly of the China-Italy government committee with the Italian Vice Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani in Rome. In his concluding speech, Wang Yi praised the achievements of China-Italy cooperation in various fields. Wang Yi said that since last year China and Italy, China and Italy actively implemented the important consensus that the leaders of the two countries reached, and on the occasion of the 55th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Italy, the two countries promoted the continuous expansion of practical cooperation in different fields, with a number of major achievements. The preliminary construction of China-Italy Lingang Innovation Cooperation Industrial Park has been completed. Both sides collectively introduced the electromagnetic monitoring satellite ‘Chiangheng-1’. Both sides support each other in the promotion of corporate development. More than 70 Italian businesses will participate in the 8th China International Import Expo. Wang Yi said China implemented the unilateral visa -free policy for Italy on a trial base and will continue to implement it. China also welcomes more Italian friends to visit China.
