China’s self -made AES 100 engine gets a production license

Beijing, June 5 (IANS). China’s self -built AES 100 engine obtained a production license on June 5 and signed a sales contract. The Aero Engine Corporation of China (AECCC) reported that the AES 100 engine is a 1,000 kW of advanced Burger -Turboshaft engine developed independently by China. It has features of high security, good economy, convenient maintenance and comprehensive adaptability in the environment. It can be installed in a double engine helicopter of 5 to 6 tons and a single engine helicopter with 3 to 4 tons. It can also be in aircraft, etc. Aircraft are used so that missions such as transport, tourism and salvation can be completed. It is said that the acquisition of a production license means that the industrial manufacturing capacity of this engine has obtained flight qualification approval. In addition, AECC also signed a sales contract and lease of AES 100 engine. Its transfer will be completed in the year 2026. According to the information, many self -made advanced China aircraft will take the first flight in the next year and they will get a license.
