Explosion in aluminum unit at Umred Midc, Seven injured

At least seven people were injured in Nagpur, Maharashtra, on Friday (April 11) in a horrific explosion in an aluminum unit, which injured two seriously (with burning). The explosion took place at Umred Midc at MMP Aluminum Industries Limited at about 6pm, the smoke of which was visible about one kilometer away. “Seven people were injured. Two of them are in critical condition. They are admitted to the medical college and the government hospital. The firm makes aluminum foil and powder. Aluminum powder still strengthens the fire.” The campaign to control the fire is underway, although some officials present on the spot said that the fire will only be controlled after the aluminum powder is completely burned. The names of the seriously injured workers in the explosion are Kamlesh Thackeray (20, resident Gondbor) and Sachin Meshram (20, resident PanjrePar).
