Jakarta – The Cilacap police with the Cilacap Regency Water Resources Management Service (PSDA) are working with the community to tackle floods in the area. The cleaning of the gutter was performed in the Sidakaya Indah Soetomo Grand Village housing complex, Jalan Kembang Nusa RT 04 RW 15, Sidakaya Village, South Cilacap District. This activity was directly led directly by Cilacap Police Chief, Commissioner Budi Adhy Buono, on Monday (13/10/2025), who deployed about 30 staff members of the SAMAPTA unit and South Cilacap police. The staff went out immediately to help the community clean the gutters and drainage blocked by mud and garbage so that the floodwaters could flow back into the river. Although it rains, the enthusiasm of the Cilacap police staff has not diminished. He added that the results of this collaborative work yielded positive results. “Thank God, now the water flows smoothly. I also ordered the South Cilacap police chief tonight to hold a meeting with housing administrators, to discuss preventative measures so that blockages do not take place again. I’m sure that if the drainage is clean, floods will not take place again,” he emphasized.
