Delhi: Great action against illegal migrants in Bangladesh, arrested 242

New -Delhi, June 10 (IANS). Delhi’s external district police have arrested a total of 242 people by taking extensive steps against citizens in Bangladesh living illegally in India. Everyone entered India’s border without legal documents and in different areas. Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police (Additional DCP) of the outer district, Manoj Kumar Mena has provided detailed information about this operation. He said that the foreign cell from the outer district received secret information that some citizens in Bangladesh are under suspicious activities around the Mangolpuri railway line. Based on this information, a special team of the cell began immediate action. When he reached the place, police saw a few suspects who began to escape after seeing the presence of the police. The police immediately stopped them and began their investigation. He further said that during the investigation it was found that all people were Bangladesh citizens and that they had no valid documents to live in India. After this, police strengthened the attacks in different areas of the outer district. In this action, a total of 242 citizens in Bangladesh from Mangolpuri and other surrounding areas were detained. Everyone entered India illegally and stayed here. He said that a case was registered against all the people caught. Police began a thorough investigation into their documents and tried to find out under what circumstances these people entered India. At the same time, it is also investigated whether it is related to an organized network, which promotes illegal accommodation. According to police resources, such actions will also continue in the future, so that illegal accommodation can be fully closed.
