Rahul Gandhi only comes to Bihar at the time of the election: Prashant Kishore

Patna, June 6 (IANS). Prashant Kishore, head of the party of Jan Suraj, strengthened his attack on the leader of opposition and congressional Rahul Gandhi on Friday during the ongoing ‘Bihar Parivartan Yatra’ in Parsa and Sonpur areas of the Saran district. Prashant Kishore addressed public meetings and accused national leaders of coming to Bihar only during the election season. He spoke to reporters after his rally in Parsa, and he questioned Rahul Gandhi’s time to visit Bihar. He asked, “Rahul Gandhi remembers Bihar only during the election? Or Rahul Gandhi or Prime Minister Narendra Modi, he comes here during the election and disappears as soon as the mood ends.” Kishore targeted the criticism of Bihar’s law and order situation by Rahul Gandhi. Kishore asked in question: “Rahul Gandhi is talking about crime now, but where was Lalu Prasad’s forest government in full swing? His party was part of the Grand Alliance. Why didn’t he raise the issue of law and order?” He also has doubts about Rahul Gandhi’s land association with the people of Bihar. Kishore said: “Has Rahul Gandhi ever spent a night in a village in Bihar? It’s easy to keep a speech. It’s something else to live with people and understand their pain.” Kishore reminded Rahul Gandhi of his incomplete promise his father made in 1989 by his father, said in 1989. Kishore claimed, “He announced a pack of Rs 50,000 crore for Bihar from the stage of Patna’s Gandhi Maidan. But Bihar didn’t get a single rupee from the announcement.” It is noteworthy that Kishore’s remarks came in the midst of Rahul Gandhi’s Gaya and Nalanda tour, where the leader of Congress targeted the NDA governments of the center and the state on attacks on crime, unemployment and constitutional values. He described Bihar as ‘crime capital’. -Ians Sch/Ekd Share this story Tags
