CM Manik Saha’s appeal to TCS officials, ensures liability and fairness in public service

Agartala, May 15 (IANS). Tripura chief minister Manik Saha on Thursday emphasized the important role of civil servants in the form of bridge between the government and the people and urged new officials of Tripura Civil Services (TCS) to maintain transparency, accountability and commitment in their public service. Chief Minister Saha addressed the conclusion of ‘Inspiration for Tripura Civil Service 2024 Batch’ at Pragya Bhavan in Agartala, and congratulated 30 TCS officials, including ten women, who successfully completed their six -month training. CM Saha said: “Selected representatives depend on civil servants who bridge people and make effective policies.” He said his government had accepted a transparent recruitment policy by ending the previous system. We ensure that qualified candidates are selected without any partiality. Many of you are gold medals, but the right reward is recognized by people for your services. CM Saha, which emphasizes the change in administrative work culture, said that the government promotes a result -oriented and merit -based environment, free of political intervention. He called on the new officials to ensure that the benefits of government schemes reached the right beneficiaries, especially in rural and deprived areas. CM Saha encouraged officials to focus on skills development and quality improvement in management, naming the country’s low employment rate in 2013, which was 33.35%. He credited initiatives such as Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana, Digital India and Skill India to remove this void through special training. He expressed the hope that the new TCS officials would continue the approach of transparent, competent and citizen-centered administration in Tripura.
