The state government has decided to provide two free LPG refills to Ujjwala beneficiaries each year. This distribution is done in two phases in the financial year 2025-26. The first phase from October 2025 to December 2025 and the second phase of January 2026 to March 2026. The state government made a provision of Rs 1500 crore for the implementation of this scheme. Priority for Aadhaar -Certified Beneficiaries: In the first phase, the benefits of the scheme are given to Aadhaar -certified beneficiaries. At present, Aadhaar -Verification of 1.23 Crore Ujjwala beneficiaries has been completed in the state. Under the scheme, this distribution is ensured by all three oil companies (Indian Oil, Bharat Petroleum and Hindustan Petroleum). The advance amount of £ 346.34 crore claimed by the state -level coordinators was provided to the oil companies, so that there is no delay in the distribution. In this way, the beneficiaries will get refilled for free and will refill 14.2 kg LPG cylinder according to the prevailing consumer rate (including subsidy) at their level. After this, the subsidy amount will be transferred to their Aadhaar certified bank accounts within 3-4 days. The subsidy amount of the central government and the state government will be sent to the accounts of various beneficiaries. Those who have 5 kg cylinders can also get 14.2 kg of cylinders if they want. At the same time, those who have only one connection will also receive the benefit of the scheme. Special campaign for Aadhaar verification: The beneficiaries whose Aadhaar has not yet been verified are verified by running a campaign in collaboration with the administration and oil companies. Oil businesses send SMS to the beneficiaries so that they can quickly confirm their aadhair. A special app is developed for Aadhaar verification, and additional laptops are installed with distributors. Promotion is done by banners, flexi and camps at each distributor. Aadhaar -verification system on grid was implemented for the ease of the beneficiaries. Strict monitoring and grievance correction system: Committees are formed on two levels for effective implementation and monitoring of the scheme. A committee that exists at the state level in the food commissioner’s office will regularly review the scheme. At the district level, the committee founded under the chairmanship of the district magistrate will hold review meetings weekly. Consumer problems will also be solved by a grievance system. Gas delivery monitoring in full amount of instructions has been given to ensure that consumers get gas in full amount (14.2 kg). If a cylinder is found underweight, the distributor will replace the cylinder by its own sources.
