CNG leak on Jaipur-Ajmer Highway causes CNG leak, stirred in midnight
A major accident was averted late Thursday night in the Bhankarota area of the Jaipur-Ajmer highway. A truck going through the old car display room at about 3:30 pm was stirred up due to a leakage of CNG gas. After receiving the information, the truck driver stopped the car on the spot, but until then the gas leaked about ten minutes from the truck. Police and administrative officials reached the place as soon as the administration and fire department reported a great loss of the incident, and the fire department was also warned immediately. According to Fire Officer Gautam Lal, Fire Vehicles of Mansarovar and Bindayaka were sent. Fire crew removed the leak facilinate and stopped the gas leak on time. Fire officer Yadav said the truck was filled with many CNG cylinders, one of which was leaked in a cylinder wall. Since the CNG gas quickly dissolves in the air, there is no major accident, which is a matter of relief. By reminding the horrors of the last major accident, it is also noteworthy that on December 20, 2024, there was a fierce accident on this Jaipur-Ajmer highway. That day, a truck hit a tanker filled with LPG, causing more than 35 vehicles to set fire. Initially, 11 people died in this accident, while the number later rose to 20. The accident occurred as a result of the use of uteres on the DPS cut, which was later closed. The National Highway Authority acted strictly after this serious accident, the National Highway Authority of India (Nhai) also took a big step. The Regional Officer Dinesh Chaturvededi was transferred to Delhi and his responsibility was handed to Abdul Basil in Rajasthan. In this entire case, the negligence of the police, the Department of Transport and Administration was revealed about the illegal cuts on the highway, through which this action became necessary. Conclusions should take quick and effective steps to handle such dangerous accidents repeatedly on Jaipur-Ajmer Highway. Quick action by the administration and fire department in the CNG leakage case in Bhankarota has postponed a major accident, which is commendable. But at the same time, sustainable monitoring is needed to protect the highway and remove illegal cuts, so that such incidents do not occur again in the future. Share this story -tags
