WAQF LAW was amended in 2013 for Appeasement, so the bill needs: AMIT Shah

New -Delhi, April 2 (IANS). Home Affairs Minister Amit Shah criticized the previous governments of Congress for appointing people of the same religion in the Waqf Council and the Council and accused the opposition parties of breaking the country. Amit Shah, who intervened in the discussion in the Lok Sabha in the Waqf (Amendment Bill, 2025, said that these people would break the country by arranging for the commissioners of all the trusts to come from the related religion. The Waqf Council and the Council are to catch and pick up these properties dishonestly. -Council and the council will do the work to catch the money stolen. He said: “The amendments made in the WAQF Act in 2013, if they were not done, this bill would not have been necessary.” Amit Shah said elections would be held in 2014 and in 2013 the WAQF Act was made ‘extreme’ under the politics of the dissatisfaction overnight. As a result, the Congress government gave 123 VVIP properties of Delhi’s Lutyens region only 25 days before the election. This is called politics or appeal. If the law was not brought before the 2014 election, it would not be necessary to bring this WAQF Amendment Bill today. -Ians PSM/Ekd shares this story -tags
