World -class health infrastructure will be developed by the new health policy of the Yogi government

Lucknow, May 16 (IANS). The Yogi government is formulating a new health policy to further strengthen state health services. This will provide advanced medical facilities in rural areas along with urban areas by attracting private investors in the health sector in UP. Its main purpose is to develop the structure of better health services from urban areas to rural areas, so that rural and small cities patients do not have to wander around for treatment. This policy applies for the next five years. The Yogi government could soon bump the cabinet onto the new health policy. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath held a meeting with high officials of the Department of Health. At the meeting, CM Yogi instructed the state’s health infrastructure to make a world class. Officials said they were considering the new health policy. CM Yogi has stamped the officials to draw up a new health policy to improve health services from urban areas from the state to rural areas to attract private investors in the health sector. CM Yogi said during the meeting that our purpose is not only healing, but to give a better life. It is the priority of the government to get quality and accessible health care for every citizen. For this, we make the partner in the private sector so that innovation, investment and inclusion in the field of health can be promoted. The Yogi government will provide high-level treatment in the state through the new health policy, super-specificity facilities, neurosurgery, cardiology, oncology in each district. In addition, private hospitals will be linked to the government schemes that Prime Minister and Chief Minister Jan Arogya Yojana, Ayushman Bharat Digital, etc. This will include 17 municipal areas in the A model, including Noida and Greater Noida. Private investment will be promoted for establishing at least 200 beds with at least 200 beds in these areas. Here, cardiology, neurology, urology, medicine, surgery, radiation -related facilities will be provided with oncology and obstetrician and gynecology. At the same time, 200 -bed hospitals will be established in 57 district headquarters under Model B. Here, all the facilities of Model A are available to the patients. Apart from this, 100 -Bed hospitals will be established in rural and backward areas of all 75 districts of the state under Model C. Patients get the facility of general medicine, general surgery and maternity and gynecology, etc. In the new policy, investors receive a discount of up to 100 percent in stamp duty in land acquisition to the private sector, priority in electricity connection, early approval (NOC) to hospitals. At the same time, the land development authority or government agencies are given at a discount rate for the establishment of hospitals. Under the policy, local youths will take precedence in nursing, paramedics and appointment of doctors in new hospitals. This step of the Yogi government will not only improve health facilities, but also provide work to youth. Arrangements will be made to connect students from medical and nursing colleges to these institutions. CM Yogi said during the meeting that the new health policy should be drawn up and made available as soon as possible so that it can be stamped by proposing in the Cabinet.
