The 1000 -year -old skeleton was transferred to the Vadnagar Archaeological Experience Museum in Gujarat on May 15 to a five -hour monitoring by 15 experts. The museum was inaugurated in January this year. This skeleton 1000 years old is called ‘Babji with Samadhi’. The skeleton was unearthed in the Mehsana district in 2019. Since then it has been placed in a temporary tent. Now the skeleton has found a new home. Mahinder Singh Surela, curator of the Vadnagar Archaeological Experience Museum, said: The skeleton was transferred at about 6pm at about 6pm on Thursday night. It is placed on the ground near the reception area with precaution. Currently it is not available for performance. Once the instructions have been received, it will be planned to test the skeleton from the point of view of protection and transfer it to the museum’s gallery. Officials said the crane was used to remove the skeleton from the tent. It was taken in a trailer under the supervision of more than 15 ASIS working on excavation locations and state government officials. This process lasted more than five hours. In 2019, skeletons were unearthed from barren land next to a grain warehouse across the railway line. The skeleton was buried in the Samadhi state. Earlier, Gujarat archaeological and museum director Pankaj Sharma told Indian Express that the Museum of Lothal is also considering the skeleton. Abhijeet Amcar, a former superintendent of Vadodara Circle of the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI), which is closely related to the Vadnagar excavation, said this skeleton was also handed over to the Gujarat government with more than 9,000 fossils discovered over the years. Experts believe that this skeleton belongs to someone who was put or buried in the case of ‘Samadhi’, who at the time was’ prevailing practice in all religions in Gujarat. This skeleton was mentioned in the paper heritage: Journal of Multidisclinary Studies in Archeology: Vadnagar: A bleeding Composite City of Historical Time in a Paper called Town of Historical Times, Ambecar et al described this discovery as this -an intuitive life in a crocodile legend. Well -preserved skeleton. The head is placed directly to the northern direction, the right hand in the shot. While the left hand lifts to the level of the chest. Maybe it’s hanging on a wooden stick (stick) that has been destroyed. The antiquity of this Samadhi type is probably the 9th 10th century AD. Probably when the Square Monument stupa was not used.
