Constitution offers equality, freedom and justice to all citizens: Governor of Madhya Pradesh

Raisen, April 19 (IANS). Mangu Bhai Patel, Governor of Madhya Pradesh, attended the ‘Constitution Gaurav Samman program’ that was organized in the town of Pratapgarh in Silvani Tehsil of the Raisen district of Madhya Pradesh. On this occasion, he emphasizes the importance of the Indian Constitution and the well -being of the nature and said that this Constitution provides equality, freedom and justice to all citizens. The National Member of the Human Rights Commission, Priyank Kanungo and the Minister of State Health and Medical Education, Narendra Shivaji Patel, were also present as special guests in the program. Governor Patel is reminiscent of the contribution of Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar, the Creator of the Constitution, said that his vision and efforts gave India a constitution that empowers all classes. He described education as the first step of progress and described education as compulsory for uplifting the underprivileged parts of society, especially tribal and extremely backward classes. Citizens who contributed to the upliftment of these classes were also honored in the program. The Governor, while calling the public welfare schemes of the central government such as Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana, Ayushman Bhalat Yojana and Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, said that these schemes make positive changes in the lives of poor and disadvantaged parts. He particularly informed about the schemes offered to tribal communities such as Bharia, Baiga and Sahariya classes, and called on the people to take advantage of these schemes. On this occasion, the beneficiary of Patel Pradhan Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana reached the home of Awadhesh Badalwa and also had food with him. The beneficiary told the governor that he received direct benefits of many schemes from the government.
