Jakarta – The Attorney’s Office (ago) office has appointed the presidential commissioner of PT Sri Rezeki Isman TBK (SRITEX), Iwan Setiawan Lukminto, as a suspect in a bank credit case. Ago revealed that there were procedures against the law in the award of bank credit to SRITEX. Director of Inquiry Jampidsus Abdul Qohar said the case began when Sritex received a loan from a number of banks. Credit is given of banks by state to local government banks. The credit refund experienced problems to the amount not paid in October 2024 reached more than RP 3.5 trillion. “Investigators have obtained sufficient evidence of corruption in the granting of various government banks to PT Sritex Rezeki Isman TBK with a total value of accounts not paid until October 2024 RP 3,588,650,808,28,57,” Qohar said at a press conference at the attorney. He explained that the credit fee received by Sritex from Bank BJB and Bank DKI Jakarta was used by Iwan Setiawan as the president of Sritex with an unnatural. “There are a legal facts that the funds are not used as the purpose of credit provision, but that it is abused to pay debt and buy non-productive assets so that it is not in line with the designation it should be,” Qohar said.
