Construction shop in Bogor City Fire, 8 firefighters deployed

Bogor – A building or material shop caught fire next to the exit of the Kayu Manis Toll Bogor Auto Ring Road (BORR) Jl Sholeh Iskandar, Bogor City. Eight firefighting units (dam truck) and BPBD carried out the handling. A resident at the place named Santo (56) said that the fire occurred in the building’s shop around 19.15 WIB. The object that was on fire was a hardware or hardware store that sold paint and thinner. “It happened around 19.00 WIB. I was visiting, from a distance I saw that there was a fire. The smoke was very thick, I checked, it turned out that the fire was already big. I immediately reported it to the fire department and BPBD,” Santo said when met at the scene on Thursday (23/10/2025). According to detikcom monitoring, the fire that gutted the hardware store was still burning inside until 20:00 WIB. A number of firefighters were seen trying to deal with the incident. A total of eight firefighting units from Bogor City and Regency are already on site for handling. BPBD’s water distribution unit and rescue vehicles are also on the scene.
