Amit Bhatia, deputy product and tax commissioner (West), told the media: “Alcohol consumption has increased in the district with the sale of liquor in Eastern and Western regions, which is a remarkable 20 percent increase with the same period last year.” He said: “There are many factors to increase revenue. This includes high social acceptance and improvement in the standard of living among consumers. They all had a positive influence on the sale of alcohol.” Gurugram district was divided into four regions, and after canceling Delhi’s new excise policy at the recent auction, there was a strict competition as a result of the increasing demand of clients, increasing the license fees in the areas to more than 50 percent. -Ians SGK shares this story tags
