Cooperation between the prosecutor's office, BPN and Ministry of Religion, Waqf land certificates are faster

Jakarta – The Bandar Lampung District Prosecutor’s Office (Kejari) shows that law enforcement cannot work alone. Through the Civil and State Administration (Datun) sector, this institution builds inter-agency collaboration with the Ministry of Religion (Kemenag), National Land Agency (BPN) and various social foundations to ensure that legal services and community protection run more efficiently. Head of the Datun Division of the Bandar Lampung Prosecutor’s Office, Bambang Irawan, emphasized the importance of cross-institutional synergy in carrying out prosecution functions outside the criminal field. “I, together with Mr. Bandar Lampung Prosecutor’s Office, feel that in the performance of the main duties and functions of the Prosecutor’s Office that are always known to the public, just dealing with general criminal cases, corruption cases, there are things that are not widely known by the public, namely in the field of Datun. Where we can represent the state as State Attorney General told the community some time ago to provide excellent service to the community,” Bacom. Scroll TO CONTINUE CONTENT One example of collaboration that has been realized is collaboration with the Ministry of Religion and BPN through the Lawyer Friends of Nazir program that helps issue waqf land certificates. “We are also present in the community as a form of service, we provide assistance to accelerate the issuance of waqf land certificates. This innovation is in collaboration or synergy with the Ministry of Religion of Bandar Lampung City and the National Land Agency of Bandar Lampung City,” explained Bambang. This cooperation is also recognized by the Ministry of Religion. Zakat and Waqf organizing staff at the Ministry of Religion, Bandar Lampung, Azhari said that synergy between institutions is the key to the success of the service. “We from the Ministry of Religion are really trying to raise this waqf issue. And I happen to know information from the prosecutor’s office through Mr. Bambang that they also have a Nazir Friend Attorney program. Thank God, we work together, synergize with each other,” Nazir said. This cooperation is not only limited to the area of law and waqf, but also affects the social sector. One example is cooperation with the Bussaina Lampung Foundation, an institution that shelters children without guardians. In this collaboration, the prosecutor’s office helps children to apply for guardianship so that they obtain legal, educational and health rights. “For information regarding this problem regarding the Child Friend Lawyer, at that time we, the Bussaina Foundation, were carrying out activities, namely for guardianship, that it was very important that the child should be presented as a guardian child. So I really asked for assistance from the Bandar Lampung City District Prosecutor’s Office through the Head of Datun, namely the Mr. of the Bussaina Lampung Foundation, Budi Hidayat. Meanwhile, the head of the Bandar Lampung District Prosecutor’s Office, Baharuddin, emphasized that this move was a form of the prosecutor’s presence in society, not just in the courtroom. “The prosecutor’s office must participate in providing solutions to the problems facing the community,” concluded Baharuddin. This cooperation between institutions is an example that legal services can be operated effectively if each party is a joint open workspace. Under the coordination of the Bandar Lampung Prosecutor’s Office, the Prosecutor’s Office now appears not only as a law enforcer, but also as a link between agencies to ensure that social justice is truly felt by the community.
