He said there were three special concerns for Prabowo, namely the education of children, he wanted the government to be present and always offer a quick and appropriate solution. Then there is a strong historical relationship with Islamic residences as educational institutions. “The very large number of Islamic residences have a very large variety of shapes and learning models,” he said. He believes that the collapse of Al Khoziny Islamic Boarding School (Ponpes) is a ‘wake -up call’ or warning for all parties. He said that Islamic residences had different challenges and even problems that were not easy, they did not even want to accept the government’s help, but rather acted independently. “Especially that regional governments are more proactive,” he said. He said that there were still many Islamic residences that did not understand the approval of the building (PBG). He said there were three criteria for Islamic residences that received help, namely Islamic residences that were vulnerable, the number of students were more than a thousand, and they could not continue to build. “The president not only wants these conditions, everyone is helped. If these are the conditions that are presented by the Ministry of Public Works, it is understandable because there are budget calculations,” he said. He said the signing of this joint agreement was to guarantee the safety of the country’s students, a form of government commitment to jointly create safe educational institutions. He said this step is also aimed at educating and bearing a strong generation. “The government does not want our students to study under vulnerable and dangerous conditions,” he said. Furthermore, Cak Imin wants PBG not to become a pest for Islamic residences and community figures. He invited the Ministry of Public Works, the Ministry of Religion and the Ministry of Home Affairs to fight together in synergy in the implementation of infrastructure for the education of Islamic boarding school. “Let’s each get the task of carrying out strategic roles to complement each other,” he said.
