Corruption Eradication Commission: 6 subcontractors receive unauthorized profits in 2020 social assistance case
Jakarta – The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) is currently investigating allegations of corruption in the transport of social assistance (bansos) at the Ministry of Social Affairs (Kemensos) in 2020. The KPK revealed that there were 6 subcontractor companies that received illegal profits in this case. “There are sub-cons, yes, 6 or 7, 6 companies if I’m not mistaken. Well, of course the financial losses will be distributed among several of these companies. Because these companies also receive profits, illegal profits,” said KPK Acting Deputy for Action and Execution, Asep Guntur Rahayu at the KPK, Jakarta, Tuesday (201/50). So that the subcontractors will also be held responsible. In this case, the Corruption Eradication Committee investigated where the money was flowing. FYI, in August 2025, the Corruption Eradication Committee announced that it had named five new suspects in the 2020 distribution of social assistance corruption case at the Ministry of Social Affairs. The suspects consisted of three people and two corporations. The Corruption Eradication Commission also prevented four people from traveling abroad in connection with this case. They are the President Commissioner of PT Dosni Roha, Bambang Rudijanto Tanoesoedibjo (BRT), Director of Operations for DNR Logistics for 2021-2024 Herry Tho (HT), Director of DNR Logistics for 2018-2022 Kanisius Jerry Tengker (KJT), and the Ministry of Change of Social Affairs and Social Affairs, and the Ministry of Expert Personnel and Dynamics Edi Soeharto (ES). The KPK said this case is related to the distribution of 5 million social assistance in 15 provinces.
