Country will follow the Declete-Delete-deport, not Dharamshala: AMIT Shah

New -delhi, October 10 (IANS). Union Minister Amit Shah took a difficult stance on infiltration and demographic change on Friday. He described it as a threat to the country and said that India is not a hospice. Home Affairs Minister Amit Shah’s office posted his statement on the official social media platform ‘X’. In the statement, he mentions the announcement made on August 15, 2025 by Prime Minister Narendra Modi from the Red Fort. He said that the formation of a high-powered demographic mission will study illegal migration, its impact on religious-social life, unusual settlement patterns and impact on border management. This mission will increase controversies, but if one has to choose between the avoidance of controversy and the salvation of the country, democracy and culture, BJP will always choose the country. He referred to the BJP’s policy to “detect, remove and deport” and said, “We will detect infiltragers, remove them from the voters list and deport them from the country.” He said: “There are boundaries in Gujarat and Rajasthan, but there is no infiltration there, because rigor is maintained there.” He quoted the example of Assam, where the decadal growth rate of the Muslim population in the 2011 census was 29.6 percent, saying: “It would not have been possible without infiltration. In many Western districts, it was 40 percent and reached 70 percent in the border areas.” He talked about opening the doors of India for the Hindus of Pakistan-Bangladesh, and he said, ‘I have just as much right on the ground of this country as they do. But those who come for economic or other reasons without religious oppression are infiltrated. When someone comes, the country will become a Dharamshala. In 1951, Hindus was 84 percent, Muslims 9.8 percent. In 1971, Hindus was 82 percent, Muslims were 11. Percent. –Is Sch/ABM
