Cow protector injured in firing near Hyderabad, MIM leaders accused of attack
Hyderabad, October 22 (IANS). A cowherd named Sonu Singh alias Prashant was injured when an unidentified person fired in the Pocharam IT corridor on the outskirts of Hyderabad on Wednesday. The accused fled after the attack. The police reached the spot and took the injured to the hospital. Rachakonda Police Commissioner Sudhir Babu visited the spot. He said that special teams have been formed to nab the accused. Sonu Singh is undergoing treatment in a private hospital in Secunderabad. Union Coal and Mines Minister G. Kishan Reddy, Telangana BJP President Ramachander Rao and MP Eatala Rajendra visited the hospital. He inquired from the doctors about his condition and the treatment being given to him. BJP leaders claimed that Sonu Singh is a cow protector and had stopped MIM workers from taking away the cows. With that he shot the cow protector. Ramchander Rao said that a person named Ibrahim attacked Sonu Singh. He said Sonu was seriously injured and was undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Secunderabad. In a post on social media platform ‘X’, Ramachander Rao wrote that such communal attacks prove that law and order has completely broken down in the state. I demand that the government immediately arrest the culprits and give severe punishment. If the government cannot ensure the safety of Hindus, it will lose its moral right to remain in power.
