A team from the Chandni Mahal police station of the central district has found an innocent girl of four years from a female kidnapper. The girl was abducted from Chandni Mahal area on June 18. The accused woman was identified as Barkha, who planned to beg the girl and sell her when she grew up. The girl was kidnapped when her mother went out of the house to bring drinking water and the girl came out of the house with her older sister. After a while she disappeared. When he didn’t know anything after he found a lot, the girl’s father filed a complaint with the Chandni Mahal police station. With his complaint, the police registered a case and investigated with his complaint. A special team was formed under the guidance of Inspector Mahavir Prasad and sub-inspector Akash led by Police Deputy Commissioner (Madhya) Nidhin Walson. The team searched footage of about 100 CCTV cameras across the area. The footage revealed that the girl was seen after the Delhi gate near Sanchar Bhavan alone. During the investigation, based on a secret information, a woman was found to have taken the girl to Behata Village in the Barabanki district of Uttar Pradesh. The police team left Barabanki immediately. It was found that the accused woman brought the girl, but she returned to Delhi as soon as the police got an idea. Teams in ordinary clothing were deployed at Old Delhi railway stations, after which police deployed teams in ordinary clothes at New -Delhi and Old Delhi Railway Stations. On Saturday morning, Barkha was seen getting off the train at the Old Delhi Railway Station. She tried to hide the girl near Shanti One Red Light, but police immediately arrested her and recovered the girl safely. During interrogation, Barkha acknowledged his crime. The girl was later handed over to her parents. Further investigation into the case is underway.
