Criminal with Chief Justice: Karnataka Police File Fir against accused advocate

Bengaluru, October 8 (IANS). Karnataka police on Wednesday filed a complaint in the Supreme Court against Chief Justice of India (CJI) BR Fir against lawyer Rakesh Kishore who was wrong with Gavai. This FIR is registered on the complaint of Bhaktavachala, president of All India Advocates Association. Vidhana Sundha police in Bengaluru registered a zero fir against 71-year-old Rakesh Kishore under Articles 132 and 133 of the Indian Justice Code (BNS). He is accused of assaulting a civil servant or using criminals to prevent him from performing his duties and using criminals with the aim of insulting any person. Zero Fir is a fir that can be submitted in any police station, regardless of where the crime occurred or the jurisdiction of the police station. Police resources said the case would be transferred to the relevant police in New Delhi. The FIR mentions that Advocate Rakesh Kishore acted incorrectly on October 6 with the CJI in the courtroom no. 1 of the New -Delhi High Court. At the time, Chief Justice of India BR Gavai and Justice K. Vinod Chandran were present in the court chamber. The complainant requested to register a case against the accused to protect the dignity and integrity of the judiciary. Advocates held a silent protest march in front of the Supreme Court in the state and condemned the misconduct with Supreme Court’s Chief Justice Br Gavai. He immediately arrested the accused lawyer Rakesh Kishore.
