Daoist duo with guns take action in Tambora, West Jakarta, residents shot

Jakarta – Two men are suspected of committing robbery in the Lima Bridge area, Tambora, West Jakarta. The gang of robbers acted with homemade firearms. “The information is like this (robbery),” said Muhammad Kukuh Islami, Chief Commissioner of Tambora Police, when asked on Friday (24/10/2025). SCROLL TO CONTINUE CONTENT Kukuh said the incident took place on Thursday evening (23/10). The offender fired a shot upwards. The bullet then fired and injured another person. “Yes, he opened fire. There was a victim, when (the perpetrator) shot upwards, someone was hit because the bullet bounced from above. (The victim’s condition) was still good and still conscious,” he explained. The two perpetrators are currently still being treated in hospital because they were injured after being attacked by the mob. The police confiscated the home-made firearm that the offender was carrying. “Yes, the perpetrator was unconscious. We secured the gun, a homemade gun,” he said. (wnv/idn)
