Jakarta -Deputy Chairman of the DPR RI, Sufmi Dasco Ahmad, opened his vote on the news of an increase in recess funds for members of the DPR RI for the 2024-2029 period. Dasco said that the DPR recess funds were determined by the DPR Secretariat General. Dasco explained that the DPR recess funds were worth 400 million IDR for the period 2019-2024. However, in the 2024-2029 period, the DPR Secretariat General stipulated that there would be an increase in the activity index and number of points, so that the recess fund is 702 million IDR. “So it’s not an increase. So it is another policy per period for DPR members. So, for the period 2019-2024, the index and number of points are different,” Dasco said to reporters on Saturday (11/10/2025).
