Daughters of Bhopal will perform in the orchestra at the Statue of Unity complex in Gujarat.

Bhopal, October 16 (IANS). October 31 is going to be a special day for the girls from Madhya Pradesh as on this day they will perform in the band at the Statue of Unity complex in Gujarat. It was told that the daughters of Bhopal will participate in the program organized on National Unity Day on October 31 in the Ekta Nagar (Statue of Unity) Complex of Gujarat in the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. In the band competition organized by the School Education Department, the girls’ team from St. Joseph’s Convent Idgah Hills School, Bhopal secured the first position in the state and, representing Madhya Pradesh at the national level, secured the second position in the country. The Union Home Ministry has selected the same team to perform at the event to be held on October 31 at the Statue of Unity Complex. The Ministry of Home Affairs has invited two teams to participate in the National Band Competition. St. Joseph’s Convent School of Bhopal, which secured the second position in the girls’ category, and the team from Rajasthan, which secured the first position in the country in the boys’ category, were included. Both these teams will jointly present in the program held in the presence of Prime Minister Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah. This program is organized on the occasion of the 150th birth anniversary of Iron Man Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. In the programme, the orchestra team of the state will share the stage with the teams of the State Police Force, Border Security Force, other security forces and NCC. The team of 30 girls included in the squad will leave for Gujarat on October 23 along with their coach Rasik Nagar Pandey. Pandey said that Hindi, Gujarati, English, Spanish and German tunes will be presented by the group team in the show. Headmistress Sister Lily said that the orchestra team had been preparing for this wonderful event for the past 15 days.
