DDA tells whether a land of water body has been given to DTC or not: NGT – NCR NGT directs DDA to submit affidavit on NajaFGarh -Pleit connection on the water body

The National Green Tribunal (NGT) instructed the DDA to submit an affidavit in the case of oversight on the land of the water body in Najafgarh. It is alleged that the DTC has built a bus base on the land of the water body. There is a dispute over the ownership of the land in which DDA DTC and Gram Sabha make their demands. The National Green Tribunal (NGT) ordered the DDA to declare the situation on the application accused of the Delhi Transport Corporation on the land of water bodies in Najafgarh. The NGT asked whether or not a land of this water body was given to DTC. The NGT got a record that the district magistrate reiterated in the affidavits of August 4 and August 10 that the various countries are actually of the water body. The NGT also found that according to the affidavit of 3 July 2025 filed by the DDA, on May 31, 2016, the water body (1.36 hectares) and very small parks around the municipal corporation (MCD) were handed over to the Delhi Municipal Corporation (MCD). Therefore, the MCD is therefore responsible for the maintenance and preservation of this reservoir. The NGT applicant hears the applicant from Kartar Singh.
