The atmosphere in the Bhoiwada area of the city turned tense on Tuesday when a middle-aged man died suddenly in a fight over the construction of a house. The in-laws of the deceased refused to accept the death as natural and accused his nephew of mental pressure. After a four-hour protest in the hospital campus, the body was finally handed over to the family after the intervention of the police and community members. However, according to family members, the cause of death was a fight that took place in the morning. Dispute over construction of the house: Reason: Deceased’s brother-in-law Bhimraj alleged that there was a long-standing dispute between Shyam Lal and his nephew Shantilal’s son Om Prakash over the construction of the house, which is also pending in court. On Tuesday, Om Prakash dug bamboo poles to plaster the house. During this time he allegedly took possession of a part of the deceased’s land, which Shyam Lal opposed. As the argument escalated, he became stressed and suddenly suffered a heart attack. There were upheavals in the hospital for four hours. On hearing the news of the deceased’s death, his in-laws reached the hospital and flatly refused to accept the body. He said that he would not take the body until the police took action against his cousin Om Prakash. Meanwhile, a large crowd gathered in the hospital premises and the atmosphere became tense.
