According to the complaint, Jagman Samra, a resident of Sangrur, currently living in British Columbia, Canada, posted seven videos from his Facebook account which were damaging to the image of the chief minister. The first post was uploaded at 02:00 on Monday night and the second at 07:00 on Tuesday. Along with these videos, he wrote that this is just a trailer, there are many such videos, whoever can prove that they are made by AI, will get a reward of one million dollars. On the other hand, the police say that preliminary investigation has indicated that the videos are deep fakes created with AI technology. The purpose of these videos is to spread hatred among people and disturb social harmony. The content is obscene, seditious and against the law, which may lead to unrest in the state. However, Samra said that he will give a reward of Rs 5 crore to whoever proves that these videos are fake. The police are now thoroughly examining the digital evidence and trying to find out where the videos originated and for what purpose they were made viral. According to police officers, this is an attempt to create hatred in the society. Samra created two accounts. Jagman Samra described himself as the owner and CEO of Double FF Store in one account.
